The singer, who recently faced criticism for his song ‘MC Oluomo,’ refuted allegations that the song was dedicated to the National Union of Road Transport Workers chairman.

OdumoduBlvck clarified, saying, “People started accusing me of singing for MC Oluomo. MC Oluomo is not the focus here. I was on a different political path; I supported Peter Obi. However, if Peter Obi had someone like MC Oluomo in his camp, we might have had a better chance.”

He emphasized the idea that power is not handed over but seized, encouraging individuals to embody the qualities of MC Oluomo in their pursuits.

In another context, Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy revealed on Wednesday that the late Indian rapper Sidhu Moose Wala served as his muse when he was creatively fatigued.

Burna Boy shared this during an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, disclosing that he was collaborating with Moose Wala on a joint project before the rapper’s tragic assassination in May 2022.

Burna Boy stated, “I was artistically drained and thought, ‘I need something new.'”

He explained that he came across Moose Wala’s music through his fans and was immediately captivated by the rapper’s distinctive musical style.
