The former Nigerian finance minister also reiterated that she does not maintain accounts on Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, emphasizing that any posts using her name or image on those platforms are fraudulent.
“As I’ve repeatedly said, I never post on Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Anything appearing there with my image is not from me. I only post on Twitter/,” she clarified.

Okonjo-Iweala’s warning comes amid rising global concerns over the misuse of artificial intelligence, particularly in creating deepfake videos that impersonate public figures and target unsuspecting citizens.
