Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has challenged the people of Ikhin in Owan East LGA of Edo State to question Senator Francis Alimikhena , who represents the district, if he is an ORACLE of development or an ORACLE of poverty.

Oshiomhole charged the locals during a ward rally held in Ikhin,after hearing their laments that their community  had been without light for seven years since Oshiomhole left government.

Oshiomhole cautioned them to be wary of individuals who have failed to fulfil their duties as senators for Edo North for the past seven years but yet want to be re-elected for a third time despite having done nothing to merit it.

The ward rally was a big success because of the large turnout; citizens testified about how Oshiomhole has touched their lives and their regrets since he left government. Many opposition members also defected to the APC.

In Afuze, for example, Francis Alimikhena is loathed for allowing the projected Federal University at Afuze to be transferred to Ebonyi state, as well as his concept of purchasing a few grinding machines and Keke napeps for a select few.

His utter disregard for the towns of Owan West and East has earned him the moniker Oracle of Poverty.

Instead of alleviating poverty with a few grinding machines for selected widows and youths, Oshiomhole told the people that he would offer them with great infrastructure, good roads, power, educational reforms, and more democratic dividends.
