Governor Adeleke clarified that he instructed the PDP senators to support Mr. Oyetola’s nomination, believing that there is no need to withdraw their support and potentially embarrass him.

He emphasized that the election process was over, and now it is time for all Osun people to come together for the progress of the state.

Regarding his plans for the state, Governor Adeleke unveiled the “Osun Business Growth Initiative” and expressed his administration’s dedication to developing the state’s business sector.

He highlighted the need for new partnerships with federal and international agencies to drive investment and boost the industrial sector.

The governor aims to transform Osun from a civil service state to a thriving industrial hub, focusing on reviving the abandoned free zone, establishing SME industrial clusters, and creating mini-industrial parks across the Senatorial district. The review of the Omoluabi economic zone is also underway to ensure its functionality and contribution to the state’s economic growth.
