The wife of Rev. Fr. Daniel Okanatotor Oghenerukevwe, a suspended Catholic priest from the Diocese of Warri, Delta State, Dora Chichah, has shared the story of how she met her husband.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The priest married Dora on December 29, 2024, at the Streams of Joy Church in Dallas, USA, without waiting for formal release from his canonical obligations by the Universal Church.

A Catholic missionary priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, shared a video on his Facebook page showing Dora recounting her testimony about their marital journey at Pastor Jerry Eze’s Streams of Joy International Church in Dallas.

Dora introduced herself as a single mother of three who had prayed for a life partner for over nine years before God answered her prayers.

“What God cannot do does not exist,” she began. “We dey pray, e dey show. My name is Dora, and I’m giving my testimony from Streams of Joy, Dallas.

“Indeed, the Lord has shown me mercy. Since 2020, I have been on this altar, believing God for a life partner. I’m a single mother of three and have been praying for over nine years for divine settlement. I kept on praying and saying, ‘God, settle me.’

“In July 2021, Pastor Jerry said the Lord has heard me. He said, ‘The Lord allowed all that has happened to take you to your wealthy place. He is your salvation. In your waiting time, He will build your character.’

“I kept praying. Anytime Pastor Jerry declared, ‘Women in their 30s, women in their 40s, receive your husband,’ I would dance, pray, and believe God.

“In 2024, I clearly heard God instruct me to relocate to Dallas, Texas.”

Dora shared that she reconnected with Daniel, whom she had known while growing up in the same area, and they quickly exchanged contact information.

Their relationship progressed rapidly, leading to their wedding, which Dora emphasized was not a secret. She said Daniel had informed the Diocese about his decision.

“He told me stories about how he had been praying for four years, seeking discernment in his vocation,” she explained. “And in my own case, I had been praying too. He said he had been fasting for three months, asking God to lead him to the woman meant for him.”
