Outrage Erupts As Ighodalo’s Campaign Executive, Olu Martins, is Accused Of Cultism In Edo State; Allegedly Leads PDP’s Deadly ‘Suicide Squad’ (Video)Implicates self in destruction of opposition billboards in the State.Benin City, long plagued by a horrifying reputation for cultism and gangsterism, finds itself at the epicenter of a scandal that could shake the very foundations of Edo State politics. In a shocking revelation, Olu Martins, the Deputy Director General of the PDP campaign, has been accused of cultism and potentially heading a sinister ‘Suicide Squad’ within the party.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The streets of Benin City are no strangers to bloodshed. Here, cults ruthlessly declare war over petty slights, such as a rival member flirting with someone’s girlfriend, leading to senseless killings. The recent accusations against Martins have thrown gasoline on this already raging inferno of violence.
Captured on camera during a clandestine meeting, Martins is seen conspiring with individuals alleged to be deadly cult members/PDP members . His chilling words to his followers were clear: those considering defecting from the PDP to opposition parties should be coerced—if necessary, beaten into submission. With a twisted grin, he cited scripture: “From the days of John the Baptist till now, the Kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force,” using holy words to justify unholy actions.
This disturbing footage comes at a time when Edo State is grappling with an epidemic of cult-related murders. Over 150 lives have been brutally cut short this year alone. Governor Obaseki recently declared an all-out war against cultism, yet within his own party, a high-ranking official is advocating for violence. This hypocrisy is not just alarming; it is morally repugnant.
Moreover, Martins’ brazen admission doesn’t stop at promoting violence. He also implicated himself in the recent vandalism of billboards belonging to LP candidate Olumide Akpata. Akpata’s billboards have been systematically destroyed across the state, a clear act of political intimidation reminiscent of an old superstition: an owl cries at night, and by morning, a child is found dead.
Is the PDP, under Obaseki’s watch, nurturing a culture of violence and cultism? This is not merely a political scandal; it is a moral crisis. The people of Edo State deserve leaders who uphold the law, not those who break it with impunity. The allegations against Martins suggest that the very fabric of the PDP is intertwined with criminal elements, posing a grave threat to democracy and civil society.
The citizens of Edo State and beyond must rise to condemn this despicable behavior. Share your outrage in the comments. Could Olu Martins be the head of the rumored ‘Suicide Squad’ that operates amidst cultists? This situation demands immediate action and accountability. See indicting video below …
