She shared the story during an episode of the Off The Top podcast.

Kiekie recalled that her fashion business was failing at the time, leaving her overwhelmed, confused, and unsure of her next step. The pressure became so heavy that she withdrew from everyone around her.

According to her, she locked herself indoors for several days, cutting off communication and even pretending she had travelled, all in an attempt to find solitude and clarity. During those days, she remained in the same clothes, prayed continually, and barely ate.

She spent her time on the floor and in bed, crying out to God and pleading for a fresh start—describing those moments as some of the most difficult she had ever experienced.

Her breakthrough came unexpectedly on the third or fourth day when a woman called her for a sewing job. She said she rushed out immediately to meet the client, and that opportunity became the doorway to a new phase in her career.

From that pivotal moment in 2018, Kiekie said her work and personal life began to flourish, and she has enjoyed consistent growth ever since.
