Oyedepo Breaks Silence: Here’s How To Fix Nigeria’s Deepening Troubles

Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel), David Oyedepo, has called on Christians to embrace divine wisdom as the key to solving the nation’s challenges.

Speaking during the 40th anniversary thanksgiving service of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Oyedepo emphasized that true leadership and national progress stem from wisdom rather than mere power.

He reminded believers that, as carriers of the mind of Christ, they possess the divine capacity to generate lasting solutions to life’s problems.

Highlighting the church’s immense contributions to education, the economy, healthcare, and other sectors, Oyedepo urged Christians to take the lead in addressing Nigeria’s most pressing issues through godly insight and innovation.

“Through wisdom, kings reign and princes decree justice,” he said. “Jesus is both the wisdom and the power of God. We’ve celebrated power long enough; now, it’s time to celebrate wisdom. Divine wisdom is our redemptive heritage, and with the mind of Christ, we have the capacity to create solutions.”

He further urged believers to seek heavenly wisdom to tackle seemingly impossible challenges, saying, “Let us call down the wisdom of God that will show the way forward in every sphere of life. We need wisdom from above to expand the church’s influence and positively transform society.”
