He urged the public to continue supporting the government at all levels as they work to navigate through the current situation.

Speaking to executive members of the Nigeria Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) at his church, House on The Rock, Harvesters House in Ibadan, the clergy encouraged Christians and the people of the state to look beyond immediate challenges.

Instead, he urged them to focus on how the current economic situation could be transformed into opportunities that would enhance the quality of life, create jobs, and improve household incomes.

Ogedengbe acknowledged that opportunities may seem limited compared to the increasing challenges but emphasized that challenges and areas of need often hold hidden opportunities.

He stated, “So, this is a challenge to us Christians to look beyond the current circumstances in our environment. Secondly, we are in trying times, but God’s will is for us to thrive.”

He urged Christians to leverage the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to identify areas in their communities, states, and nation where solutions are needed, as this could lead to the creation of opportunities.

He emphasized the importance of understanding and coming up with value-added solutions instead of lamenting problems.
