Panic And Pandemonium! Gunmen Disrupt Delta APC Congress, Attack Ibori-Suenu

Ibori-Suenu, daughter of former Delta State Governor James Ibori, was said to have been confronted at the congress venue in Ovade shortly after her arrival.
Eyewitnesses revealed that several individuals sustained injuries during the attack. Armed assailants allegedly fired gunshots and wielded weapons in an attempt to prevent the lawmaker and her supporters from entering the venue.
Fortunately, Ibori-Suenu’s security team intervened, ensuring her safety amid the chaos. Following the incident, she urged APC supporters in the state to remain calm and avoid actions that could further escalate tensions.
In related news, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, stated that no political party can claim to be made up entirely of saints. In a post on his handle on Saturday, Keyamo emphasized that, despite its flaws, the APC remains Nigeria’s best hope, warning against a return to the era of the PDP.
