Mallam Saleh Ali, a parent of students from Faudiya Islamic School in Geidam, Yobe State, condemned the recent attack by suspected Boko Haram members as barbaric and heartless. The attack occurred early Friday morning, when gunmen on motorbikes with AK-47 rifles stormed the school, killing three students and injuring one. Ali recounted that the attack happened while the children were asleep, with the gunmen forcibly dragging them out before shooting them. He expressed fear and disappointment that the police and military had not identified the attackers despite their visit to offer condolences. The deceased students were Ahmad AbdulRahman, Mohammed Saleh, and Abdullahi Adamu, while Saleh Haruna, who was wounded, is under medical care.

Ali, along with other parents, has left the matter to divine judgment, criticizing the government for failing to protect its citizens and calling for improved security measures.

The Headmaster of Faudiya Islamic School, Mallam Kolo Mohammed, expressed shock over the unprecedented attack, emphasizing their peaceful nature and reliance on divine justice.
