Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has stated that the Nigerian Naira could have fallen to as low as N10,000 per dollar if not for divine intervention.
In a recent sermon, Adeboye attributed the Naira’s stability amidst ongoing economic challenges to God’s grace and mercy. He emphasized that, despite the country’s financial struggles, divine intervention has played a critical role in preventing a complete collapse of the currency.
Adeboye’s comments came as part of his reflections on Nigeria’s economic state, where he encouraged the congregation to trust in God’s power to preserve and guide the nation through its current difficulties. He noted that, without such intervention, the Naira could have depreciated much further, causing severe hardship for ordinary Nigerians.
