In an official statement released on Wednesday, the PDP, through its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, disclosed that Arong, who holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance and a B.Sc. in Accounting, will complete the remaining term of the late Effah-Attoe, who passed away on October 29, 2023.

The statement emphasized Arong’s intellectual prowess, experience, competence, and vigor in mobilizing women for the party at both state and national levels. It acknowledged her significant contributions to the party’s growth, highlighting her leading roles in mobilizing various party women and youth groups, as well as her involvement in conducting party primaries and congresses across the country.

Expressing satisfaction with Arong’s dedication to the PDP, the party congratulated the new National Woman Leader and urged her to leverage her capabilities and experience to collaborate with other members of the National Working Committee. The PDP emphasized the importance of her role in ensuring the ongoing stability, growth, and success of the party.
