PDP Rocked By High-Profile Exit—National Chairman’s Media Aide Resigns

Though Dingyadi did not specify the reasons behind his decision, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the chance to serve the party during a crucial period in its evolution.
“I deeply appreciate the support and prayers I received from the PDP family throughout my tenure. I’m thankful for the confidence placed in me to carry out my responsibilities,” the letter stated in part.
Dingyadi was a key spokesperson for the PDP, frequently representing the party across major media outlets and offering clarity on internal conflicts and national issues.
Renowned for his communication skills, he played a vital role in managing and enhancing the PDP’s public image during politically sensitive periods. His presence was consistent across radio, television, and print media, where he articulated the party’s agenda and defended its policies.
His tenure included pivotal media coordination during the 2023 presidential campaign of Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa.
With over 20 years of experience in journalism and political communications, Dingyadi previously worked with respected media houses such as Reporter/Nasiha and BBC Hausa.
He also played significant roles in past presidential campaigns, including those of Obasanjo/Atiku (1999, 2003), Jonathan/Sambo (2011), and Atiku/Okowa (2023). In addition, he was part of the media team of the late Minister of Communications, Arzika Tambuwal, and actively participated in political groups like the People’s Front, SDP, and DPP. He further contributed to the administration of former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
