urged both the legislative and executive branches of government to exercise caution amidst the ongoing dispute between them.

The PDP acknowledged its awareness of the ongoing conflict between the two government branches but expressed confidence that the matter would be handled amicably.

The party mentioned that it is engaging in discussions with various stakeholders and prominent figures within the state to work toward a resolution.

The party also conveyed its optimism that the internal conflict, which it views as a family matter, would be resolved harmoniously in due course.

In response to the crisis in the Rivers State House of Assembly, senior PDP member Bode George expressed his apprehension.

He highlighted an attempt to impeach Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the removal of the House leader, along with the emergence of a factional speaker.

George described the situation as distressing and called upon the state’s elders to intervene and bring the involved parties to order, with the aim of preventing further escalation of the issue within the PDP-controlled oil-rich state.

He voiced these concerns during an appearance on the Politics Today current affairs show on Channels Television.
