Peter Obi Donates N60 Million To Anambra Institutions, Urges Students To Seek Global Opportunities

Obi made the statement during a N60 million donation to two educational institutions in Anambra State, including N50 million to Peter University in Achina/Onneh and N10 million to the School of Nursing Sciences in Adazi-Nnukwu.

While addressing students at the College of Nursing Sciences, Obi emphasized that those who choose to seek opportunities abroad will return once Nigeria is on the path to prosperity. He encouraged students to pursue their dreams and not be deterred by challenges in Nigeria, noting that those who leave will likely return when the country is in a better state.

Obi shared a personal anecdote about his former assistant, Michael-Jude, who had moved abroad and was thriving. He highlighted the importance of education in national development, urging students to take their studies seriously as the key to driving positive societal change.
