Instead, Omokri—who has recently switched allegiance to President Bola Tinubu—asserted that it is Obi who fears him.
He made this remark during an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
Omokri further alleged that supporters of the Labour Party, commonly referred to as the “Obidients,” frequently target him with online attacks.
“How could I possibly be afraid of Peter Obi?” he asked. “He’s the one afraid of me. His official spokesman, Valentine, is constantly on my Facebook, X, and Instagram pages, hurling insults and attacking me daily. Nigerians can verify this themselves. It’s clear—they’re scared of me,” he stated.
