Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad has claimed that the flagbearer of the Labour Party in the just concluded election wasn’t legitimate enough to be the presidential candidate.

Bashir Ahmad took to his Twitter handle to react, claiming the presidential candidate of the Labour Party also falls under the same category as Alex Otti.
He wrote; “Frankly, even Peter Obi, according to our amended Electoral Act, wasn’t legitimate enough to become the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. When he ran away from PDP and joined Labour Party the time was not favored him to do so. But to them, everything is run by emotion.”
Although Obi was given waiver by the LP after decamping from the People’s Democratic Party.
