Eminent Nigerian figures, including Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, gathered to pay their respects at the funeral service of the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Holding, Herbert Wigwe, alongside his wife Chizoba and son Chizi. READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE
The burial ceremony took place in Isiokpo community, located in the Ikwere Local Government Area of Rivers State, and saw the presence of distinguished guests such as the former Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II, and Africa’s wealthiest individual, Aliko Dangote.
Among the attendees were former Transport Minister Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, and governors including Alex Otti of Abia, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, and Babjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos. Also in attendance were former Senate President Bukola Saraki and other prominent leaders from various sectors.
The funeral service was conducted at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lion of Judah parish, Isiokpo, where friends, family, and colleagues gathered to bid farewell to the late Wigwe family.
