Social media personality Amodu Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has pleaded with the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, for forgiveness following the controversy involving her partner, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, also known as Peller.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Her appeal comes in the wake of public backlash over an unauthorised visit to the Benin Royal Palace.

Jarvis made the plea during a live social media session, where she expressed remorse over the incident and begged for leniency. She also voiced concern about the potential impact on her personal life, particularly her plans to get married, saying she does not want the situation to jeopardize her future.

She said:
“I don’t want to remain single… please forgive him. I want to get married and have my bride price paid without fear. Please show us mercy.”

The incident stems from actions taken by the Benin Traditional Council, which had earlier summoned Peller over the March 6, 2026 visit, describing it as a breach of palace traditions and protocol.

As part of the fallout, the council sanctioned some individuals within the palace, including the suspension of a chief, while other members of the royal household were penalized for their roles in granting unauthorized access.

Peller has also been instructed to appear before the council and issue a formal written apology, as authorities continue to address the matter and uphold order within the palace.
