In Lagos state, law enforcement authorities have detained a 40-year-old woman named Akintola Alima on charges of forcibly entering a school in the Ijegun area and kidnapping three young pupils on March 11.

Reports from the police reveal that Alima, along with other members of her gang, infiltrated the school premises around 3:30 pm, seizing the three pre-nursery pupils. Promptly alerted, the police initiated a pursuit, resulting in the apprehension of Alima. Unfortunately, her accomplices managed to escape using an unregistered motorcycle.

The kidnapped pupils, identified as Sofiat (4), Isreal (5), and Mustapha (6), were successfully rescued and reunited with their respective families.

Currently held in police custody, Alima is facing legal consequences, while law enforcement continues its efforts to apprehend her escaped accomplices.
