Police Reacts Fiercely After Man Confronts Officer In Viral Video

The Nigeria Police Force has strongly condemned acts of provocation against its officers while performing their lawful duties.

The reaction follows a viral video showing a civilian in Lagos confronting an officer and accusing him of mounting an illegal checkpoint.

In a statement shared alongside the video, the NPF described the confrontation as “unacceptable” and warned that such actions could jeopardize public safety.

“The Nigeria Police Force strongly condemns this act of provocation against officers performing their lawful duty. Such disturbances are capable of undermining public safety. We urge citizens to respect security personnel and desist from any actions that obstruct their work,” the statement read.
