In reply, Adejobi said, “We cannot arrest all criminals at once. We should be appreciated for those we have captured. Our officers make numerous arrests daily. The armed forces and police are doing their best, and their efforts should be acknowledged. We need collective and individual efforts to address insecurity and other issues in Nigeria.”

In another matter, the NPF clarified that the recent raid at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) secretariat was not related to the NLC or its leadership. Adejobi explained that the operation was aimed at a suspected criminal located in a shop within the NLC building in Abuja’s Central Business District.

He also requested the NLC leadership’s cooperation in the ongoing investigation related to the raid.
