Adejobi stressed that, while the officers may be subjected to a lecture on refraining from such actions, the incident does not warrant dismissal as it is considered a less severe offence. Addressing the issue on Instagram, Adejobi stated, “We won’t dismiss a policeman for picking such money; we can only lecture him not to do so again, as such relegates him.” This statement indicates that the emphasis is on providing guidance and correction rather than imposing severe punitive measures for the officers involved in the incident.
