The representative of the Gombe state police command, Mahid Muazu Abubakar, recently shared the remarkable story of his 14-year journey to marrying the woman he had always dreamed of.
In a post on X, Muazu disclosed that he initially encountered his now-wife in 2010, expressing an interest in her but refraining from pursuing a relationship due to her young age. However, in 2016, he decided to pursue his feelings despite facing rejection from Nafisa’s family members. Muazu recounted proposing to her eight years ago, and they finally tied the knot in a recent union.
