The ADC National Vice Chairman (North-West), Jafar Sani, alleged that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was attempting to undermine the party’s ongoing reorganisation efforts.
Speaking after a leadership and stakeholders’ meeting, Sani claimed that the APC was making desperate attempts to infiltrate and weaken the opposition in Kaduna State.
He lamented that certain individuals within the opposition had been sponsored by the APC to create internal divisions and derail the party’s restructuring process.
Addressing the press, Sani said, “Some coalition partners have been sponsored to institute a court case against key figures, including Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and others. This same group has unlawfully claimed to have suspended the ADC State Chairman, Elder Patrick Didam Ambut, as part of a wider scheme to destabilise the party.”
He reaffirmed the expulsion of members found guilty of insubordination and anti-party activities, endorsing the decision of the State Working Committee led by Ambut.
“After reviewing the recent developments, we hereby endorse the expulsion of the Deputy Chairman, Alh. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, and eight others,” Sani stated.
He further revealed that Hon. Adamu Ahmed Dattijo, Alh. Suleiman Abdullahi, and Sen. Musa Bello had been blacklisted for initiating legal action against Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Jaafaru Sani, and Bashir Saidu without first exhausting the party’s internal conflict resolution mechanisms.
