A retired military officer, Chris Eze, has been elected as the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Enugu State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Eze, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretary and ex-Ambassador to India, secured the position on Saturday alongside other members of the party’s State Working Committee.

Others elected include Prince Acharabuagu Kingsley as Vice Chairman for Enugu North Zone and Lolo Queen N. Nwankwo as State Organising Secretary, among several other officials.

The newly elected leadership is expected to strengthen and reposition the party ahead of future elections in the state.

In his acceptance speech, Eze promised to run an inclusive administration that would ensure all party members are carried along.

He also assured aspirants of fairness and transparency in upcoming party primaries.

According to him, “We will run an inclusive administration that will carry all members along in the affairs of the party.”

In a statement signed by Adolphus Udeh, the new chairman noted that the party has begun strategic planning aimed at taking over political leadership in the state.

He added that the ADC is positioning itself to win the 2027 general elections in Enugu State, with a focus on building a grassroots-driven government that delivers democratic benefits to the people.
