Fayose attended an All Progressives Congress (APC) event wearing a cap branded with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) logo and a “Renewed Hope” agbada. He was seated beside Lagos State Speaker Mudasiru Obasa and Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat.

Reacting to the unusual outfit, Ajetunmobi took to , commenting on the effect of politics on people. He wrote:

“Fayose in PDP cap and ‘Renewed Hope’ agbada… politics will make you mad.”

In a separate development, Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, mocked Fayose over his 48-hour ultimatum demanding the withdrawal of a statement about him.

Fayose had threatened to reveal more details about Atiku’s meeting in Minna if his aide did not comply. Responding on , Ibe questioned whether 48 hours was “too long” for such a demand.

He also criticized Fayose for confusing Phrank Shaibu with himself, adding that the antics only confirm that Fayose’s stories are fueled by “aged beverages.” Ibe jokingly noted that he doesn’t need a witch doctor to guess the source of Fayose’s indulgence.
