Reverend David, widely known for his bold online presence and active engagement in interfaith dialogues—especially on Facebook—was reportedly killed in a fatal car crash on Saturday while returning to Kaduna from Makurdi, Benue State.
As of the time of this report, specific details surrounding the incident remain unclear. Reverend David was the Senior Pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, Inc., based in Kaduna.
However, according to SaharaReporters, a family member, Reverend Mohammed Mohammed, confirmed that the cleric died at the scene of the accident.
“Rev Azzaman Azzaman was involved in an accident on his way back from Makurdi. He was alone in the car and passed away on the spot. May his soul rest in peace. May the Lord comfort us all, in Jesus’ name,” Reverend Mohammed stated on Sunday.
Reverend David was highly regarded for his deep theological insight and unwavering commitment to defending the Christian faith. His vibrant presence on social media—especially through Facebook live sessions and written commentaries—made him a respected voice among young believers and religious scholars alike.
