Senator Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Senate Matters, emphasized that collaboration is crucial for achieving the goals of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He stated, “The Renewed Hope Agenda is centered on efficient governance that delivers tangible benefits to the people without delay.”

Lado pointed out that a proactive and transparent relationship between government bodies and the Senate is essential for effective oversight. While he acknowledged that scheduling conflicts can occasionally hinder prompt attendance, he stressed the importance of prioritizing these invitations to demonstrate a commitment to accountability.

“Although competing engagements may make it difficult for agencies to respond quickly to Senate invitations, it is vital to prioritize these opportunities for engagement,” Lado explained.
