The minister also assured his commitment to bridging the gap between education policy statements and their tangible results.
He pointed out that although Nigeria has formulated numerous commendable policies outlining the necessary steps for the nation’s educational advancement, these policies have not yielded the expected results in the sector.
“President Tinubu has given a directive to reintegrate the 10.5 million out-of-school children into the educational system before the end of his tenure,” Mamman stated.
He emphasized that there is still much work to be done in terms of matching the educational needs of the country’s children with the policies in place. The minister stressed the importance of taking action on the ground rather than merely declaring policies.
Mamman highlighted the government’s responsibility to provide opportunities for Nigerians to acquire empowerment and emphasized that the time has come to transform policies into tangible reality.
