Mrs. Walson-Jack, who has been a Federal Permanent Secretary since 2017 and has held various roles across several Ministries, will succeed Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the current Head of the Civil Service, who is scheduled to retire on August 13, 2024.
President Tinubu expressed gratitude to Dr. Yemi-Esan for her service and urged Mrs. Walson-Jack to execute her responsibilities with innovation, integrity, and strict adherence to the established rules and regulations of the Civil Service of the Federation.
