President Tinubu highlighted Mr. Bunmi Oni’s remarkable 29-year career in the corporate world, culminating in an impressive eleven-year tenure as the CEO of Cadbury Nigeria Plc.
He lauded Mr. Oni’s exceptional leadership, innovative thinking, and unwavering dedication, which have served as a testament to his accomplishments.
The President also recognized Mr. Oni’s versatility and dynamic capabilities, evident in his various board-level executive roles across multiple departments, including Technical Support, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, and Corporate Planning.
Additionally, President Tinubu noted that during his tenure as CEO, Mr. Oni simultaneously supervised the West Africa operations of the company for five years, contributing significantly to its expansion and establishment in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. Mr. Oni’s outstanding leadership earned him the distinction of being voted Nigeria’s Most Respected CEO in 2005.
