Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, released a statement on Saturday, which read: “President Bola Tinubu extends heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. The deceased was a distinguished businessman and politician who served as the Senator for Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly.”

Tinubu also conveyed his sympathy to Ubah’s friends, colleagues, the National Assembly, and the people and government of Anambra State, expressing his prayers for the repose of Ubah’s soul and strength for his family.

In a related statement, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, described Ubah’s death as a profound loss for the Ndigbo community. Kalu praised Ubah for his dedication to his constituents and his impactful work in the legislature. He highlighted Ubah’s significant contributions to the media, sports, and petroleum sectors, and his role as a leader committed to community development.
