President Tinubu Touches Down In Lagos For Eid-el-Kabir Celebrations Before Heading Back To Abuja

President Bola Tinubu has landed in Lagos ahead of Wednesday’s 50th anniversary celebration of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). His presidential plane touched down at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, around 4:15 pm on Tuesday.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

On arrival, President Tinubu was welcomed by a delegation led by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and was accorded a military honor.

The President is set to join other regional leaders and dignitaries to mark the 50 years of the regional bloc’s existence.

According to a statement from Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, as ECOWAS Chairman, Tinubu will highlight the bloc’s key achievements during the event at Eko Hotels and Suites.

While in Lagos, President Tinubu will also inaugurate several projects on Saturday, May 31st, including Section One of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road, the launch of Section II of the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, and the 7th Axial Road.

He will observe Eid-el-Kabir prayers at the State House, Dodan Barracks, before returning to Abuja.
