Renowned public policy analyst and International Director of Studies at the European Centre for Advanced Professional and International Studies, Lagos, Prof. Anthony Kila, has rebuked Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his recent comments regarding President Bola Tinubu’s decision to reinstate Nigeria’s former national anthem.

Kila expressed his disapproval of Akpabio’s remarks, stating that they demonstrated a lack of diplomatic etiquette and a tendency to trivialize important matters. He suggested that Akpabio should undergo further education in diplomatic protocol to improve his communication skills.

Speaking on a breakfast television show on Arise TV monitored in Abuja, Kila criticized Akpabio’s statement as shallow and disconnected from reality.
