The group, led by its convener Eric Agabi, aims to advocate for good governance by projecting a certified public servant who has performed exceedingly well. He claims it is not about a selfish interest, but the desire of the youths to bring out one of their own who has a proven track record of achievement.
“We are not political, but we want the best for our state, and we have identified one of our own from the Youth constituency with a track record of success.
We wholeheartedly support Dennis Idahosa running for governor and carrying the youth banner. Only a certified performer can provide Edo State with sustainable leadership that is laced with excellent development and full of creative foresight.”
According to the group, it intends to take a deliberate strategy in informing voters about why they are supporting Dennis. Project Idahosa, as it has been dubbed, would operate from the three senatorial districts, with directors coordinating the group across the state’s 18 LGAs.
As previously said, the Edo 2024 election will be determined by a variety of factors like track record of performance, voting strength of senatorial district, popularity of party candidates, and so on.
