Halilu Kundila, a member of the All Progressives Congress representing the Shanono/Bagwai State Constituency, has passed away at the age of 59.
The sad news was confirmed by a family source, stating that the lawmaker breathed his last on Saturday night at his residence after a brief illness.
The funeral prayer for the departed lawmaker was conducted on Sunday morning at Kundila in the Shanono Local Government Area of the state.
“The lawmaker succumbed to a brief illness on Saturday night and has been laid to rest in his hometown, Kundila,” the source disclosed.
Among the dignitaries present at the funeral prayer were Yusuf Badau, the House of Representatives member for Shanono/Bagwai constituency, along with several colleagues from the state assembly.
Halilu Kundila, survived by four wives and 17 children, leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered by many.
