Omokri quipped, “Peter Obi is so contradictory and spins so many tales that he should be driving a Lamborghini!” He further challenged Obi’s comments on Nigeria’s “transactional politics”, questioning Obi’s own track record. “How did Peter Obi get the Labour Party ticket? Isn’t that transactional?” he retorted.

He was quick to highlight Obi’s tenure as Governor of Anambra, stating, “He harps on about disobedience to the rule of law. But did he himself hold Local Government elections during his governorship? Is skipping such an election constitutional?”

Furthermore, Omokri threw shade at Obi’s academic credentials, “He claims he earned a second-class lower in philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Yet, all we’ve seen is his WAEC certificate submitted to INEC. Meanwhile, he and his cohorts are on a wild goose chase for Tinubu’s degree certificate in Chicago. Drawing a parallel with another controversial figure from Anambra, Omokri mentioned Mmesoma Ejikeme, a young lady embroiled in a scandal for allegedly forging her JAMB results. “Just like Mmesoma Ejikeme, Obi is chasing accolades he hasn’t earned. He claims victory in the #NigerianElections2023, but records indicate he came third.”

Omokri concluded his tirade by accusing Obi of stirring unrest with his statement. “His recent statement is nothing but a bait to incite a coup. However, let’s be clear: there will be no coup in Nigeria, in Yeshua’s Name.”
