Second Most Wanted Kidnapper In FCT Captured By Police Authorities

In an ongoing battle against banditry within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and its neighboring areas, FCT Police Command operatives, acting on credible intelligence on February 24 at approximately 7:05 PM, conducted a successful operation in Sardauna Forest, Toto, Nasarawa State. The operation led to the apprehension of Samaila Wakili Fafa, also known as Habu Ibrahim, a notorious kidnap kingpin who had long been on the Command’s wanted list. The Honorable Minister of FCT had previously placed a bounty on his head.

Samaila Wakili Fafa, identified as one of the two kidnappers targeted by the FCT authorities, confessed during interrogation to orchestrating numerous kidnappings in the FCT and surrounding areas. This included the abduction of Barrister Chris Agidy, legal aid to Senator Ned Nwoko, and Mr. Sunday Yahaya Zakwai, the district head of Ketti Village, who were later tragically killed by the syndicate. Following Wakili’s admission, he guided police operatives to the location where the remains of Barrister Chris Agidy were discovered and subsequently deposited at Gwagwalada General Hospital.

The arrest was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, who stated that the investigation is still ongoing. Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth C.
