The much-anticipated ministerial nominees list reportedly includes prominent names such as former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, Rivers State counterpart Nyesom Wike, and eminent medical scholar Ali Pate.
According to a Senate source, President Tinubu sent the list to Senate President Akpabio in compliance with the constitutional provision that it should reach the National Assembly within 60 days after the presidential inauguration, with the deadline expiring this weekend.
The list features a mix of politicians and technocrats, including legal luminary Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), economist Olawale Edun, banker Adebayo Adelabu, former Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, APC Women Leader Betta Edu, Senator Ben Ayade, and Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media, Strategy, and Special Duties, Dele Alake.
