Senate Promises To Prioritise Bills On People With Disability                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has expressed the National Assembly’s commitment to prioritize bills and laws concerning Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) to ensure their inclusivity in the affairs of the country. Akpabio made this statement during the commemoration of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities in Abuja. He emphasized the need for a more inclusive Nigeria and encouraged the National Commission for Persons Living with Disabilities to collaborate with the National Assembly to identify critical areas requiring legislative intervention for people with disabilities. The Senate President assured that the 10th Assembly is open to expediting motions and bills related to PWDs, reflecting the legislative commitment to inclusivity.
