Senator Ningi Raises Concerns Over Lack Of Transparency In Tracking N3.7 Trillion Projects In 2024 Budget....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Senator Abdul Ningi has reiterated his claim that projects totaling N3.7 trillion in the 2024 Appropriation Act cannot be traced. The Chairman of the Northern Senators’ Forum previously asserted that the National Assembly approved a budget of N25 trillion, contrary to the N28.7 trillion being implemented by the federal government.
Accusing the Tinubu administration of unfairness in budget implementation across the country, Ningi faced criticism from Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, who dismissed the allegations as false.
Undeterred by the counterstatement, Senator Ningi, speaking to the press at the Senate on Monday, maintained his stance and expressed his readiness for any actions taken against him. He clarified that his statement was a personal opinion and not a representation of the Northern Senator Forum. Ningi emphasized that N3.7 trillion from the 2024 Budget remains unaccounted for, asserting, “I stand by what I said: N3.7 trillion is not traced to any project in the 2024 Budget.”
This development has stirred controversy, with various individuals expressing concerns about financial transparency and accountability in Nigeria. The ongoing disagreement highlights the need for a thorough investigation into the allocation and utilization of funds in the national budget.
