In a statement on Monday in Benin City, the APC governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming September 21st governorship election in Edo State, described Dr. Odubu as an illustrious son of Edo State whose service as Deputy Governor of Edo State for eight years in the administration of Senator Adams Oshiomhole delivered historic growth and development.

“Dr Pius Odubu has been a defender of the downtrodden in Edo State, whether in his immediate constituency through effective representation in government, or across the state.

“We are proud of him for the life he has lived, the achievements he has recorded, and for the innumerable contributions he will yet input to the collective task of creating Edo of our shared aspiration.
