Senegalese President Faye Holds Talks With Tinubu At Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is presently hosting Senegal’s newly inaugurated President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, at the State House in Abuja.

The meeting marks a courtesy call on Tinubu by Faye, who recently assumed office as a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Government.

Faye, inaugurated on April 2, 2024, arrived at the State House forecourt around 3:00 pm, accompanied by military band pipers. Subsequently, he was escorted to Tinubu’s office for a private discussion.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Government has criticized Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State for allegedly aiding Yahaya Bello in evading arrest. Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, has raised concerns over Ododo’s actions.
