Abuja— Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abubakar Guri, who served as the DC in the office of COMPOL MOPOL at Force Headquarters, Abuja, passed away on Monday after collapsing suddenly………..CONTINUE READING
Sources reported that DCP Guri, who was in uniform at the time, slumped in his office chair. Despite being quickly transported to the clinic within the Police Headquarters for medical attention, he was declared dead upon arrival.
The cause of his death remains unknown. Colleagues mentioned that DCP Guri appeared healthy and engaged warmly with officers and staff of the MOPOL department when he arrived for duty earlier that day.
An anonymous source suggested that the senior officer’s unexpected collapse and death might be linked to heart failure. The source noted that many police officers have recently experienced similar issues, likely due to fatigue from working long hours, often through the night without adequate rest
