According to Naija News, Zulum appeared on Sunday’s edition of Politics Today on Channels Television, where he discussed the ongoing tax reform bill. The governor expressed concerns that if the bill is passed, only Lagos and Rivers states would benefit from the proposed changes.

In response, Seyi Law, who serves as Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment & Tourism to the Ondo State governor, took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize Zulum’s stance. He wrote, “You want to hold the SW [South West] to ransom because of a tax bill?! These people too funny. All their degrees have been thrown in the garbage while trying to defend their elites. Zulum sef dey zuzu.”

The post sparked a backlash from users on X, with many questioning Seyi Law’s remarks. One user responded sharply, “If you are sacked now & you go back to cracking dry jantofubu jokes and disturbing Seyi Tinubu’s precious moments on WhatsApp with your empty ideas, you will say your governor is wicked because how are you his mouthpiece & talking about another governor like this?”

Seyi Law quickly hit back at the critic, replying, “Your head is as big as Ekenedilichukwu yet devoid of a functioning brain.”
