Sharing My Story This Wednesday — Brodashaggi Teases Fans With Emotional Revelation

Nigerian comedian and skit maker Samuel Perry, popularly known as Brodashaggi, has announced plans to share his experience after surviving a gunshot injury that reportedly left him hospitalised earlier this year.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the content creator teased the announcement in a video shared online, which reportedly contains footage of him being rushed to hospital following the incident in Ogun State.

In the caption accompanying the video, Brodashaggi wrote, “What happens when life hits pause? Sharing my story this Wednesday.”

The announcement has attracted attention from fans and colleagues who expressed concern about his condition after reports emerged in March that he had sustained a gunshot injury while filming in Ogun State.

His forthcoming account is expected to shed more light on the incident and the events that followed, although further details have yet to be disclosed.

In April, Brodashaggi shared a message expressing his faith and determination to move forward despite the ordeal. He said he continued to trust God, adding that his Maker had never failed him.

His posts at the time prompted concern among some colleagues. Rapper N6 disclosed that he had been including the comedian in his daily prayers and encouraged others to do the same, saying some of Brodashaggi’s recent posts and captions had worried him.

Following the latest announcement, several celebrities took to the comment section to express gratitude for his recovery and offer words of encouragement.

Actress Iyabo Ojo wrote, “Your healing is permanent,” while media personality Toke Makinwa welcomed him back, saying, “Welcome back. You’ve been missed and thankful for life.”

Other entertainers, including Cute Abiola, Kiekie and Tobi Bakre, also shared supportive messages.

Brodashaggi is expected to share his experience on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, according to the announcement in his post. His disclosure is anticipated to provide fans with further insight into the incident and his journey since the reported shooting.
