Sh*ck Political Shift: Gov Eno Clinches Akwa Ibom APC Ticket, Unveils Bold ARISE 2.0 Vision

The governor made the remarks shortly after taking part in the APC governorship primary election held at Mbiakpan Obot Ward Two in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.

Eno described his emergence as the party’s candidate as a fresh mandate to deepen his service to the people of Akwa Ibom with renewed dedication and stronger commitment.

He revealed that his administration would soon inaugurate a committee to assess the performance of his first term and develop a second-term policy framework known as ARISE 2.0 ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to the governor, the initiative is expected to build on the successes already achieved under the ARISE Agenda while introducing new strategic priorities for the next phase of governance if he secures re-election.

Eno also reiterated his call for peaceful and issue-based political campaigns, urging political parties and candidates to concentrate on policies, governance, and development plans instead of personal attacks or divisive statements.

He emphasized the need for the electoral process to be carried out in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance, and mutual respect, stressing that the overall interest of Akwa Ibom State should remain above political differences.

The governor further stated that he is prepared to participate in political debates ahead of the 2027 elections, noting that such platforms would allow candidates to present their ideas, programmes, and vision directly to the people.
