Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Sani said the outcome would depend on how the election is conducted.

He argued that Tinubu would only be at risk if the poll were decided on social media platforms rather than at polling units.

“If the election is conducted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms, Asiwaju may lose. But if it is decided by voters at polling units, he is likely to win about 70 percent of the votes,” he said.

Despite online criticism, the governor expressed confidence that Tinubu retains strong grassroots support.

Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has warned that Nigeria could face instability if Tinubu secures a second term in office.

He argued that the current administration is disconnected from the everyday realities of citizens.

Speaking to journalists, Baba-Ahmed expressed concern over worsening insecurity, widespread poverty, and growing social division across the country.

He described the current situation as one of the most difficult periods in Nigeria’s recent history, stressing the need for urgent political change ahead of the 2027 elections to prevent further national decline.
